Built for the moments between the photos.
Aftercam started with a simple frustration: the best photos from any night were always on someone else's phone.
Not the polished shots from the photographer you hired. The candid ones — the look on someone's face when they didn't know you were watching, the group that formed spontaneously at the end of the night, the moment the speeches dissolved into laughter.
Those photos exist. They were taken. They're just scattered across twenty different camera rolls, never shared, often never even looked at again.
We built Aftercam to collect them — and to make the reveal a moment in itself.
The disposable camera has always been the right idea. One roll, shared by everyone at the table. You don't know what's on it until you develop it. That surprise is part of what makes it special. Aftercam is that, but it fits in a text message.
We're a small team obsessed with the moments between the formal moments.
What we believe
Four principles
01
Everyone's a photographer
The candid shot someone takes without thinking is usually better than the one you posed for. We built Aftercam to collect all of them.
02
Privacy by default
Photos stay completely hidden until the host decides to reveal. No sneaking a peek, no accidental shares, no regrettable uploads.
03
Simple for guests
If guests have to think about it, it won't work. No download, no account, no setup. Just a link and a shutter button.
04
Honest pricing
You pay for what you keep, not for what your guests upload. No subscriptions, no per-seat fees, no surprises at checkout.
