What counts as a kept photo?
A kept photo is any photo you choose to include in the final gallery after review. When you review the roll, all photos are kept by default — you tap to remove. Pricing is based only on what you keep, not what was uploaded.
Do guests count toward the price?
No. Guest count has no effect on final pricing. You can invite 5 guests or 500 — the price depends only on how many photos you keep after review.
When do I pay?
After you review the roll and before you reveal the gallery. You'll see the exact amount based on your kept photo count before entering payment details.
What if I keep 0 photos?
If you keep no photos, there's nothing to reveal and nothing to pay. The event is marked as not requiring payment instead of opening Stripe Checkout.
Is there a subscription or monthly fee?
No. Aftercam is completely free to use until you reveal. You only pay when you're ready to unlock a gallery.
