Aftercam, Inc. ("Aftercam", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Service.
What information we collect
Hosts: We collect the email address you use to sign in via magic link. We also store metadata about events you create — event names, settings, reveal times, and your event history. Guests: We collect the display name you enter when joining a roll. We do not require an email address or any account information from guests unless you optionally provide contact details for reveal notifications. Photos: Photos uploaded by guests are stored securely to provide the event gallery. Usage data: We collect standard server logs including browser type and pages visited to operate and improve the Service.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to: — Operate and provide the Aftercam service — Send magic link sign-in emails to hosts — Support optional reveal notification contact when enabled — Investigate abuse and enforce our Terms and Conditions — Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve the product We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your event photos for advertising, training AI models, or any purpose other than storing and delivering them to you.
Data sharing
We share data only with trusted service providers necessary to operate the Service, including cloud storage providers, email delivery services, and payment processors. These providers are expected to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.
Cookies and tracking
We use session cookies to keep hosts signed in. Guests use participant cookies so the app can restore event access without creating guest accounts. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising.
Data retention
Host account data is retained as long as your account is active. Event photos and guest display names are retained for the event lifecycle and may be removed after the download window expires.
Your rights

Security
We use HTTPS encryption for data in transit and private storage for photos and personal data. No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
Children
Aftercam is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify registered hosts where practical.
