Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using Aftercam. These terms govern your use of our Service and form a legally binding agreement between you and Aftercam, Inc.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Aftercam ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users of the Service, including hosts who create events and guests who join them.
2. Description of service
Aftercam provides a platform for hosts to create private event photo rolls, share them with guests via QR code or link, and reveal a curated gallery after review. Guests can capture and upload photos through a mobile browser without creating an account.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Aftercam. Hosts must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent. Aftercam reserves the right to terminate access for users who do not meet these requirements.
4. User accounts
Hosts sign in using a magic link sent to their email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email account and for all activity that occurs under your Aftercam account.
5. User content
You retain ownership of any photos or content you upload to Aftercam. By uploading content, you grant Aftercam a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
6. Prohibited content
You may not upload content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, or that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others. Aftercam reserves the right to remove content that violates these terms.
7. Payment and pricing
Hosts pay to unlock and reveal a gallery after the review process. Pricing is based on the number of photos kept after review, as set out in our current pricing schedule. All prices are in US dollars.
8. Refunds
Because hosts review all photos before payment and can see exactly what they are paying for, we generally do not offer refunds after a gallery has been revealed. If a technical error on our part prevented the gallery from being revealed after payment, please contact us.
9. Data retention
Photos uploaded to an event are stored securely. After a gallery is revealed, photos may be retained for a limited window so hosts and guests can download them. Hosts can request deletion of their event data by contacting hello@aftercam.app.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aftercam shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email where practical.
